Career Choices The TN Air Guard offers over 200 career fields where you will get in-depth comprehensive instruction and hands-on experience using some of the most modern, sophisticated equipment in the world.

Your family is important to the Air Guard. Through summer picnics and holiday get-togethers you meet acquaintances that will become lifelong friends. When you are away for training, the family support groups will be there for your family.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Prior Military Service
  • Non-Prior: 17 to 39 years old
  • Must achieve a qualifying score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
  • Meet the Air Force physical requirements
  • Be morally suitable for enlistment. i.e.: No illegal drug use, no serious law violations, etc.
